Your First Promotion

The first goal is not a title. It is to finish a bout while understanding what the decision cost and what changed afterward.

1. Create the promotion

Choose the promoter, promotion, and gym names you want to see throughout the career. Your home country matters because recruiting access begins close to home and expands through achievement.

The game then presents starter fighters. Compare more than OVR. Look at age, POT, style, record, durability, and the individual attributes that support how the fighter wins. POT is a lifetime ceiling, not a promise that every fighter will reach it.

2. Read Home before spending

Home is your control room. Note your current cash, reputation, roster space, messages, and the status shown beside each fighter. Open Finances before adding a weekly salary or a facility cost.

Your starter gives you a way to learn without immediately filling the roster. If you recruit, begin with one affordable target whose contract leaves room for several weeks of operating costs.

3. Make a contract offer

Open Recruit, filter the available fighters, and open a candidate. The offer screen shows total fights, weekly salary, fight purse percentage, signing bonus, and signing interest.

More money and a better purse share can improve interest, while a longer commitment can make an offer less attractive. The signing bonus is paid up front if the fighter joins. The salary continues each week. Send an offer only if you can afford both.

Advance the week to receive the result. An offer is a chance, not a guaranteed signing.

4. Book a suitable opponent

Open Matchmaking or use the action beside an available fighter. Compare OVR, attributes, style, rank, record, and the booking preview. An eligible matchup can still be a poor decision.

For the first bout, prefer a fight that answers a question about your boxer without exposing them to a large skill gap. Booking starts the training camp. Read the camp focus message promptly and choose the attributes you want emphasized.

5. Reach fight week

Each week, resolve required mail and check the roster before using Continue Week. When the bout arrives, open it from Home. Watch the simulation if you want to learn how the matchup plays out, or skip to the result.

Afterward, review the record, development, injury information, rankings, and money. That review is the real end of your first promotion cycle.
