Facilities and Staff

Upgrade the five gym facilities and hire coaches in an order that supports the roster without exhausting weekly cash.

Facilities change what the promotion can support. Staff improve training. Both consume money, so the right order depends on the current bottleneck.

The five facilities

FacilityPlayer facing effect
Training SpaceRaises roster capacity
EquipmentRaises the camp quality ceiling and training effect
PR DepartmentImproves recruiting interest and reduces signing costs
Media CenterImproves fight revenue
Medical BayChanges injury recovery speed

Each facility has five levels with names and effects shown in the upgrade screen. Training Space has weekly overhead from the starting level. Other facility overhead begins or increases as their tiers advance.

The Medical Bay starts at First Aid Kit. Early medical levels are intentionally modest and the screen shows the actual recovery effect. Compare the current and next level instead of using old advice that treats level one as an optional purchase.

Upgrade the constraint you can see

Choose Training Space when roster capacity is preventing a needed signing. Choose Equipment when camps are capped below what the coaching team can deliver. Choose PR when suitable fighters lack interest or cost too much to attract. Choose Media when event activity can make use of added revenue. Choose Medical when injuries and recovery are repeatedly constraining the roster.

An upgrade is not automatically good because it is available. Check the one time price and the new weekly overhead.

The staff roles

Head Trainer provides broad technical, physical, and mental training support and is central to camp quality.

Conditioning Coach emphasizes stamina, work rate, power, body, recovery, and heart through their skill profile.

Corner Staff support defensive and recovery related preparation. The gym can employ multiple corner staff, while the head trainer and conditioning coach roles are singular.

Each candidate shows skills, OVR, and weekly salary. Hire for the camps you actually run, not just the highest overall number.

Staff work before the bell

Staff effects feed camp preparation. There is no live corner management choice during a fight. If a boxer enters poorly prepared or badly matched, staff cannot be activated midbout to change the plan.

A sustainable order

In a new promotion, use the starter setup until a clear limit appears. A head trainer often gives the broadest early training benefit, but even that hire must fit the cash flow. Add specialists after the roster produces enough activity to justify their salaries.

Review staff and facilities together. Expensive coaching cannot push camp quality beyond the equipment ceiling, while advanced equipment cannot create the same coaching contribution by itself.
